This additional filter can be fitted to the outgoing water outlet of the RO Station. It is delivered filled with mixed bed deionization resin and will remove all traces of minerals remaining after the RO process. Alternatively, it can be filled with Calcium Carbonate for example, and be used to add calcium and carbonate ions lost after RO filtration. For use where water supplies are high in silicate, Silphos can be used to remove remaining silicate. The cylinder includes two screw caps with plug-type connectors for the hose of the osmosis plant and two brackets for a direct attachment on the RO Station. A mixed-bed ion exchange resin with color change is used as a refill medium (article No. 8550.501).
