The Snugpak Poncho is a simple over the head, waterproof, smock style piece of useful kit that everyone should have. Designed to be worn over the user as well as the users backpack, if one is being utilized, to help keep you and your gear dry in a down pour. Its generous cut design can allow one to use as an emergency Bivvi if needed. Snugpak has gone above the old standard design of what most people think about when thinking of a poncho, they have included an adjustable hood and thumb loops in the design. Located on the chest is a Velcro map pocket with storm flap. Made out of Snugpak's exclusive Paratex Dry material and with fully taped seams which allows the shell to be 100% waterproof. The Snugpak Patrol Poncho is a simple yet effective over-the-head smock style poncho with a generous cut that fits comfortably over your backpack. The Patrol Poncho is 100 percent waterproof with a 2000 millimeter Hydrostatic Head polyurethane coating and tape sealed seams. The Patrol Poncho can be used as an emergency bivvi – or bivouac sac – if you spend an unexpected night outdoors. Snugpak has gone beyond the standard poncho design and have added an adjustable hood, thumb loops in the cuffs for increased coverage, and a Velcro map pocket with a storm flap on the chest. The Patrol Poncho was created with Snugpak’s exclusive Paratex dry material; durable water repellent and waterproof polyurethane coatings ensure that you will stay dry in inclement weather.
