This carbon fiber sheet is engineered for peak tensile and bending stiffness along a single axis. 0 degree uni sheets excel in simply supported or cantilevered beam applications, and reinforcing other structures (like plastic or fiberglass substrates with insufficient bending strength). When ordering rectangular sizes, the 0 deg uni fibers align with the longer dimension. If you prefer the fibers along the shorter dimension, inform us during order placement. For all our carbon fiber laminates, we advise preparing surfaces by lightly sanding before bonding or painting.
